Resistance Band Set | Resistance Bands
CHF 25.-
One set replaces three single bands: light, medium, and heavy together cover 6 to 45 kg of tensile resistance. All three loop bands are 104 cm long (208 cm circumference) and 4 mm thick—long enough as a pull-up aid, short enough for the gym bag. The complete set weighs 0.5 kg and will be with you in 1 to 3 working days.

The set includes three levels: light (blue, 1.5 cm), medium (red, 2 cm), and heavy (black, 3 cm). The fourth level, extra heavy (orange, 6.5 cm), is not included. Anyone who needs more than 45 kg of resistance can purchase it separately.
Individual steps for retrofitting or replacement can be found at Resistance band as a single band in four levels. Short loops for hips and legs are a different product: the Mini band set with 3 loops of 25 cm each.
What can I use the resistance band set for?
Among other things, the set covers four areas of application. First, as pull-up assistance: depending on the level, the band relieves you of 6 to 45 kg of your body weight. Second, as additional resistance during squats, deadlifts, bench presses, or push-ups. Third, in mobility and stretching training for the shoulders, hips, and thoracic spine. Fourth, as a complete travel luggage gym: 0.5 kg for all three bands. In addition, there are many other applications in warm-ups, physical therapy aftercare, or club training. The bands are closed loops – any exercise where you can loop around a fixed point works.
For what type of training is the design built?
This is a continuous rubber loop with a 4 mm wall thickness, without handles and without a door anchor. The resistance is therefore not constant: it is lowest at the starting point of the stretch and increases the further you pull the band. For a pull-up, this means that at the bottom the band helps you the most, and at the top hardly at all. This is precisely what trains the difficult starting point. Anyone looking for resistance that remains constant throughout the entire range of motion, like that provided by dumbbells or a cable machine, will clearly notice the difference. For progressive bodyweight strength training, this resistance profile is an advantage.
How do the three volumes differ from each other?
All three bands are the same length (104 cm) and thickness (4 mm)—only the width varies. The blue band is 1.5 cm wide and provides around 6 to 14 kg of tensile resistance. The red band measures 2 cm and achieves about 18 to 32 kg. The black band, at 3 cm, is the widest and reaches around 27 to 45 kg. The ranges overlap intentionally: the lower value applies with slight stretching, the upper with full extension. You can also attach two bands in parallel and add their resistances together.
How do I attach the band to the pull-up bar?
You place the loop over the bar and pull one end through the other – this creates a hanging loop. You place a foot or rest a knee in this loop. It is important that the arms are completely extended in the starting position without the foot touching the floor. This works on pull-up bars, racks, and rigs just as well as on a doorway pull-up bar. For additional resistance on the barbell, you hang the band over the ends of the barbell and step onto it with both feet.
Which of the three bands fits my goal?
| You can't even do a single pull-up yet | Black (3 cm), 27–45 kg support |
| You can do 1–3 pull-ups without help. | Red (2 cm), 18–32 kg assistance |
| You can do 4 or more pull-ups | Blue (1.5 cm), 6–14 kg support |
| Mobility, Stretching, Shoulder Warm-up | Blue (1.5 cm) |
| Resistance bands for squats and push-ups | Red (2 cm) or Black (3 cm) |
If you are between two levels, take the stronger one: the guideline is 5 to 10 clean repetitions. It is also important that the resistance of the band does not exceed your body weight—otherwise you won't be able to fully stretch the band.
