With us, you'll find speed ropes from CHF 5 to 15 – from the basic rope for beginners to the premium speed rope with a steel cable for double unders.
Which jump rope is right for you?
- Basic Speed Jump RopePVC rope, lightweight handles, affordable. For warm-ups and beginners. CHF 5.
- Gymnastic PVC Speed RopeA slightly heavier rope that you can feel better – good for learning rhythm. CHF 6.
- Ergo Speed Jump RopeErgonomic grips, available in several designs. For regular training. CHF 15.
- Premium Speed Jump Rope2.5 mm thin steel cable on 360° swivels, extremely fast. For CrossFit, double unders, and boxing training. CHF 15.
How to adjust your rope length and which technique makes double unders possible is explained by the Jump rope guide. This goes well with Floor mat, which is gentle on the joints and the floor.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a jump rope need to be?
Place one foot on the middle of the rope: the handles should reach up to your armpit. Beginners use a slightly longer setting, advanced users a shorter one.
Speed rope or regular jump rope?
Speed ropes have a thin, fast cable and run on swivels. For fitness and CrossFit, they are the better choice. For children or a pure warm-up, a PVC rope is sufficient.
Can I jump on parquet or carpet?
Yes, but steel cables abrade floors. On hard floors, a rubber mat protects both the cable and the joints.
