Frequently Asked Questions
Which exercise mat is suitable for home use?
For yoga and floor exercises, a 4–6 mm thick TPE or NBR mat is sufficient, slip-resistant and easy to clean. For core training or martial arts, thicker mats of 10 mm and above are recommended. The difference between a gymnastics mat, yoga mat, and floor mat is explained in the Guide to Gym Mats.
What is the difference between a fitness band and a resistance band with handles?
Resistance bands without handles are more versatile, for example around legs or furniture. Bands with handles are more comfortable to grip for pulling exercises. We offer both in various resistance levels.
What weight should a medicine ball have?
For beginners, 2 to 4 kg is sufficient, while 5 to 8 kg is recommended for throwing and strength training. Advanced users and wall ball exercises often use 8 to 12 kg.
