A device.
90 kg Resistance.
Weighing 6 kilos.
The Voltra I generates resistance electronically instead of using weights — up to 90 kg, in a shoebox-sized housing. No subscription, no weight stack, mountable on a rack, wall, pole, or tree. And it is continuously expanded via firmware — new training modes are added for free.
The Beyond Power Voltra I is an electronic cable machine: A motor generates the resistance digitally — 2 to 90 kg in 0.5 kg increments. The device measures 32 × 14 × 10 cm, weighs around 5.8 kg, and runs on a rechargeable battery. Eight training modes and four additional functions simulate chains, bands, eccentric overload, and rehab assistance. No subscription required.
The three sets
The Voltra Bundles
The Voltra alone is strong — only with the mount and handles does it become a fully fledged gym. These three combinations cover the most common setups, each cheaper than buying them individually.
None of the three requires an existing rack. Home you mount it yourself to a load-bearing wall — DIY dock, cheapest entry. Complete comes with the firmly anchored wall rig with continuously variable height adjustment and full equipment. Nomad completely without drilling: strap for any structure, platform for every floor. All mounting types in the Assembly Overview.

What is a digital cable machine?
A classic cable machine works with a weight stack: you pin 40 kg, you pull 40 kg — throughout the entire movement, in both directions, always the same. Simple, but inflexible, heavy, and space-consuming.
The Voltra I generates the resistance instead via a Electric motor. Software dictates the force with which the Kevlar cable retracts—and how this force changes throughout the movement. This makes it possible to replicate what would otherwise require chains, bands, and a training partner: a heavier load during the eccentric phase, increasing resistance toward the end of the range of motion, or automatic assistance when fatigue sets in.
The result: 90 kg of resistance in a 32 × 14 × 10 cm device that does not need to store a single kilo of iron — and therefore fits on the wall, on the rack, or in a suitcase.
The real difference
Eight modes, eight training types
Every mode changes, how how resistance behaves throughout the movement. That is the point where the Voltra can do things that a weight stack inherently cannot do.
Constant resistance in 0.5-kg increments — the classic cable machine feel, just precisely adjustable.
For: normal strength trainingResistance increases with draw length like a rubber band — gentle start, hard endpoint.
For: Speed strength, band trainingThe resistance depends on your speed of movement: pulling faster means more load.
For: explosive exercises, VBTThe movement runs at a constant speed, no matter how hard you pull — the resistance continuously adjusts.
For: Rehab, controlled exertionHold against a fixed point while the device measures your force in real time.
For: Testing, follow-up monitoringYou define the resistance curve yourself and save it as a profile — controllable via the Beyond+ app.
For: Physio, own protocolsFluid resistance curve for high repetitions — the Voltra turns into a rowing machine.
For: Conditioning, MetconResistance curve for the SkiErg movement, included since firmware 1.8.
For: Hyrox, enduranceEccentric Overload increases the load during lowering. Chains makes it rise towards the endpoint, Inverse Chains Conversely. Help relieves the load as soon as the force subsides.
Can be activated within the modesYou adjust mode, weight, and rope length directly on the touchscreen or via the Beyond+ app — without rewiring, without interruption.
Change in secondsThe Voltra downloads firmware updates via Wi-Fi — free of charge, with no subscription. At its market launch in 2023, it had three modes; today there are eight: Isokinetic was added in 2024, Custom Curve and Rowing in 2025, and Ski with firmware 1.8 in May 2026. In addition, existing modes have been expanded — for instance, eccentric overload now goes beyond the previous upper limit of 100 percent. A device that can do more after purchase than it could when you bought it.
Assembly
Where do you attach the Voltra?
The Voltra is not set up, but rather hooked on—to a bracket that matches what you already have. Exactly this determines which accessories you urgently need: no mount, no training. This overview leads from the substrate to the right solution.
The most common case in the home gym and studio: you already have a rack. The mount is attached to the profiles, the Voltra clicks in. Fixed variant for a desired height, adaptive for multiple rack types, sliding for stepless height adjustment during training.
No rack, but a load-bearing wall: The R-SERIES Mini Wall-Mounted Rig gives the Voltra a fixed place with multiple attachment heights - from floor pulley to lat pulldown. For DIY solutions, there are the DIY docks, which allow you to mount the attachment to existing structures yourself.
If you have a pull-up bar or a pipe in the room, you need neither a rack nor a drill: the Bar Mounts clamp directly onto the bar. The adaptive version adjusts to different diameters.
The most flexible way — and the reason why the Voltra also works outdoors: The mounting strap is wrapped around a tree trunk, a pillar, a steel beam, or a post and supports the bracket. No drilling, no permanent installation, removable anywhere.
When there is nothing at all to hang it from: The travel platform stands freely on the floor, you step onto it, and your body weight holds it securely in place. The solution for hotel rooms, vacation rentals, or spaces where nothing is allowed to be mounted.
Addition for existing mounts: The rotator allows the Voltra to rotate within the mount so that the pull angle follows the movement — useful for rotations, woodchops, and anything that isn't linear.
Who this is worth it for
Three ways to use the Voltra
The cable tower that fits in the closet
Working out at home rarely fails due to a lack of willpower, but rather due to lack of space. The Voltra replaces the cable machine and weight stack—and can be detached and stored away after the workout.
- 90 kg resistance without weights in the room
- No rewiring, no disc change
- Push and pull exercises from every angle
- No slamming weight stack — suitable for rental apartments
Smart resistance
The assist function and isokinetic mode turn the Voltra into a therapy device: the load adapts to the daily form instead of forcing the patient into a fixed weight. Every repetition becomes measurable.
- Assist function automatically reduces the load
- Isokinetics for controlled loading
- Fine dosing from 2 kg in 0.5 kg increments
- History data exportable for documentation
A device for every customer
Between two clients you don't change stations, but the mode. That saves space, makes progress visible and delivers an argument that has no weight block.
- Switching between clients in seconds
- Real-time data on force, power, and speed
- Training data exportable via Wi-Fi
- Mobile use — also on-site at the customer's premises
- New modes via firmware — without a new device

What you should know
Don't forget the mount
The Voltra comes without a mount—it’s not an optional extra, but a requirement. Which one you need depends on what you have: a rack, wall, pole, structure, or nothing at all. The Assembly Overview will lead you to the right one. It's already included in all three bundles.
No subscription, no recurring fees
The Beyond+ app can be used without a subscription and is available for iOS and Android. It counts repetitions and provides strength and performance data — it is not necessary for the workout, as all modes can be adjusted on the touchscreen.
No outlet needed
The Voltra runs on an integrated battery and is charged via USB-C — just like a laptop. This allows you to train even where there is no power outlet within reach: in the garden, in the basement, on the go.
Where the Line Is Drawn
90 kg covers virtually the entire range of cable machine exercises—rowing, lat pulldowns, curls, flys, rotations, and leg work. What the Voltra doesn’t replace is heavy foundational training beyond that: squats and deadlifts with maximum weight are still best done with a barbell.
The device won't become obsolete
Since its launch, five additional training modes have been added via firmware updates, most recently “Ski” in May 2026—free via Wi-Fi, with no subscription required. Existing modes have also been expanded: The eccentric overload now exceeds the previous upper limit of 100 percent. A device that can do more after you buy it than it could when you bought it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything that matters before buying
How is the Voltra attached?
A mounting system that fits your space: at the Power Rack, at the Wand, at a Pull-up bar, with the Fastening Strap on any load-bearing structure, such as a tree, column, or beam—or without any mounting at all on the Travel Platform. The Assembly Overview Shows all options with prices.
Is a mount included?
Not for the standalone unit—the Voltra comes with a charger, and you choose the mount that fits your space. It’s a requirement for training, not an optional extra. The most affordable option starts at CHF 69 (DIY Dock Pair), while the most flexible option is the mounting strap for CHF 299. All three bundles already include a compatible mount.
What's included in the three bundles?
Home (CHF 2,934.-): Voltra I, DIY Dock with Base Plate, six Premium Carabiners, Basic Handle, Functional Rope. Complete (CHF 3,512): Includes an R-SERIES Mini Wall-Mounted Rig instead of the dock, a Sliding Rack Mount, a 120-cm CarbonFlex Bar, a Heavy-Duty Resistance Cord, and two free handles. Nomad (CHF 3,546): Voltra I, Strap Mount, Travel Platform, six carabiners, Basic Handle, Functional Rope, CarbonFlex Bar (120 cm), as well as an aluminum SZ grip and Rotation Row Handle.
Can I use it outside—like on a tree?
Yes. That's exactly what the Strap Mount Thought: The strap is placed around a tree trunk, a column, or a post and supports the mount. Since the Voltra runs on a battery, you don't even need power within reach.
Does the Voltra really replace a cable machine?
For the vast majority of cable training, yes: 90 kg covers rowing, lat pulldowns, curls, triceps, flies, rotations, and leg exercises. What it does not replace is heavy foundational training beyond 90 kg — squats and deadlifts with maximal loads remain the domain of the barbell.
What does electronic resistance feel like?
Different from a weight stack, but not worse. The motor pulls evenly and without the momentum that a weight stack develops — as a result, the load is more constant throughout the entire movement. Anyone used to the traditional way needs a few sets to get used to it; after that, most find it more controlled.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The Beyond+ app can be used without ongoing costs and is available for iOS and Android. It counts repetitions, controls the modes, and provides strength and performance data. It is not mandatory — you can also adjust all modes and weights directly on the touchscreen.
Does the Voltra get updates?
Yes, free via Wi-Fi and without a subscription. Beyond Power regularly delivers firmware updates that bring new training modes and functions: at market launch, the Voltra had three modes, today there are eight—Isokinetic came in 2024, Custom Curve and Rowing in 2025, Ski with firmware 1.8 in May 2026. Existing modes have also been expanded, such as eccentric overload beyond the previous 100 percent limit.
Does the device need power during the workout?
No. The Voltra has an integrated battery and is charged via USB-C, like a laptop. During training, you don't need a power outlet within reach.
Is 90 kg enough?
Almost always for cable pull exercises. When it comes to pulling movements and unilateral exercises, hardly anyone consistently works with loads over 90 kg. What’s more, the different modes allow you to make the same load significantly more challenging than on a pulley system—eccentric overload makes 60 kg harder than a constant 80 kg. The scale goes down to 2 kg, which also makes it suitable for rehabilitation.
What exercises can I do with this?
Virtually all cable exercises: rowing, lat pulldowns, bicep and tricep curls, flyes, woodchops, and rotations, plus sprint and throwing simulations. The spectrum is determined by the attachment — Basic Handle for trains, CarbonFlex Bar for two-handed movements, Functional Rope for triceps and face pulls, Ankle Strap for the lower body.
What accessories do I need at a minimum?
Is the foot cuff included in the bundles?
No, the Ankle Strap It is not included in any of the three bundles and must be purchased separately for CHF 65. It’s the most useful first addition if you want to do leg and hip exercises: abductions, kickbacks, leg curls, and hip extensions all use this machine.
Is it suitable for physical therapy and rehab?
Yes, that's one of its strongest applications. Resistance can be adjusted in 0.5-kg increments starting at 2 kg; the assist function reduces the load as soon as your strength wanes; and every repetition can be measured and exported. The Voltra is used internationally in physical therapy practices and for return-to-sport programs.
How loud is the Voltra?
Since no weight stack slams down, the typical source of noise found in conventional equipment is eliminated—making all the difference for rental apartments. The electric motor is audible. [PH] Add specific details, if available.
How much space do I save compared to a cable machine?
A lot. A traditional weight stack station takes up several square meters and is permanently installed. The Voltra measures 32 × 14 × 10 cm, weighs 5.8 kg, and can be removed and stored after your workout. For small home gyms, that’s often the deciding factor.
How fast is the device delivered?
Versand innerhalb von 1–3 Arbeitstagen ab unserem Schweizer Lager in Liestal, alternativ Abholung vor Ort. [PH] Add information regarding the subsequent delivery time if the stock is depleted.
